Pallet Garden

Let's see how this works!  Tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, dill, strawberries, purple basil, thyme, and sage.

Never seen him so excited about fruit and vegetables.  Maybe he'll eat them because he helped?!  I think I'll start a second pallet...

Mother's Day Garage Sale Finds

First garage sale of the season for us and I cleaned house!  Bike, miter saw (still in the box), black plastic for the underside of my pallet garden, saw horses, and some smalls (as American Pickers would call them!)

Only 10 dollars!!!!!

20 dollars

One dollar for two!

Pallet Garden

I love this idea.  I don't want to dig up a space for a garden in my backyard  or anything permanent.  With this, I can put it where I want and then store it once the season's over.  I found some of the black plastic stuff still in its package at a garage sale today for a dollar and had the fence stuff in my garage just taking up space.

Mason Jar Candle Holders

I told ya I was gonna do these or something like them.  I think the original idea was to make them free-standing but then I decided to make them hangers.  I'm going to put some sand and a candle in each and then hang them on the fence.  Got the jars at an antique store, Jason had some wire at home, and I bought some of those pipe fitting thingees.  Love.  Love.  Love!

Farewell To The Ugly Rock Garden

The side of our house next to the driveway was just a heap of red and white rocks.  I have always hated it.  The rocks were always in the driveway and it was just plain ugly.  I decided to do a succulent garden (some sedums and hens-n-chicks) there because they don't require a lot of attention or water.  Like all perennials they will spread with time.  I'm pretty pleased with it!

Bottle Cap Frame Work

Thanks to all my friends and family who have drank a lot of alcohol to help me with this project!

I'm actually a little further along with this project but you get the idea.
