First Sewing Project

I don't mean to brag but I'm pretty sure I won the Excellence in Beginning Sewing Award tonight.  It was extra hard because my sewing machine was produced by the Lollipop Guild.  I want to make my own curtains so I practiced tonight.  I pretty much eye balled it and here's what I got.

Oh. My. Gaw.  I'm so excited!  I'm bringing it to work tomorrow to see what pointers my sewing friend has to offer.  I may also have to (already) trade my munchkin made machine in for the Dorothy version if I get hooked on this sewing thing.

New Sewing Machine!

This came in the mail today from my mom.  This picture was taken after I jumped around for a couple minutes screaming and, honestly, probably peed a little.  I can't wait to make some curtains!!!  Thanks, mom!

St. Patty's...Bottoms up!

We went to Taco Bell for our St. Patty's supper.  Fitting, I know.  Then we came home and had some green beer. You gotta, right?!

We Finally Made A Snowman

Garret and I have been saying all winter we should make a snowman in the backyard.  Last night we were bored so we went out and made this mini snowman.

Kalen's 13th Birthday.

Kalen was super sick last Friday when we were supposed to have her birthday sleepover.  So, we had it this weekend.  We took her and her girlfriends to Buffalo Wild Wings for supper.  They are a crazy bunch of teenage girls and I loved watching them have fun together.  They were obnoxious, they spilled pop, they had a cake eating contest, played trivia and I absolutely loved their energy.
